SNOWSHOEING

Sainte Foy is perfectly suited to snowshoeing as it is surrounded by unspoilt terrain on all sides. Take an afternoon walk to the stunning abandoned village of Le Monal or visit a frozen waterfall and you will really feel like you have the mountains to yourself. Morning, afternoon or all-day guiding is available and the hire of snowshoes is cheap and easy to arrange.

SPA

There is a luxurious spa centre in the resort which offers many different pampering services and a swimming pool. This is open during the afternoon and early evening and is perfect for soothing those aching muscles at the end of the day.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

As we are so close to the Italian border, it is possible to take a helicopter trip over the border for a morning of Heli-skiing on untouched, pristine mountains.

Husky rides are available in Sainte Foy where a group can be taken on a trip through the snowy forests.

The nearby resorts of Val d'Isere and Tignes offer the chance to try ice driving, paintballing, snowmobile trips and rock climbing, amongst many other things, and La Rosiere has a bowling and ice-skating centre.

Take a walk to one of the quaint nearby hamlets, where the farmers have lived for generations and the buildings haven't changed a bit!
